Coenzyme Q10, who or what should you believe?

You read a lot about Q10 on the internet. One says it's quackery and the other says it works very well. Who or what should you believe now?

In addition to Q10, I use 10 supplements and I also take the regular medicines: Entresto, water pills, blood thinners and Forxiga (Dapagliflozin).

My regular medicines didn't work at all for over 2 years. In fact, I continued to deteriorate until I started taking the supplements. From that moment on I keep getting stronger and better.

Within Europe there are about 10 million people with heart failure and in the US another 6.2 million. In addition, many people suffer from strokes and/or heart attacks or sudden cardiac arrest.

It is not only about older people aged 70 or 80, but also very young people are affected. And within families there is so much suffering and sadness.

If we can prevent that or if we can give people back a little more energy and health, we will make many people happy with this.

We can keep shouting that it doesn't work and that it's quackery, but we can also try it and see if our blood values are moving in the right direction. After all, coenzyme Q10 is a body's own substance.

I feel much better (8 month) and my blood values are also going in the right direction. April 6th I will go to the hospital again for an Echocardiogram and for a blood test and I am therefore curious whether my good feeling can be seen in the results again.

Greetings from an experience expert 😊

Research: 'Time to Energize Coenzyme Q10 for patients with heart failure?

KiSel-10 & Q-Symbio: Revolutionary Research An important study into the relationship between Q10 and cardiovascular disease was the KiSel-10 study, named after the location of the research Kisa, selenium and Q10. More than 400 over-70s participated in the study. One half received for 4 years Q10 and selenium supplements every day, the other half placebos (dummy pills). The group that received supplements was up to 54% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease. The heart muscle was also stronger in this group. Another important study was the Q-Symbio study. This showed that Q10 supplements greatly improve the survival rate of people with a weak heart. The use of Q10 supplements also resulted in fewer hospital admissions due to heart problems. So Q10 seems to be very important, not only with aging (when Q10 levels decrease), but for anyone with heart problems. And I also mean heart failure, myocardial infarction and after a stroke.   Cholesterol, good or bad?! Inflammations can (sometimes) occur in our body and when we have exercised a lot, for example, our body and our muscles will have to recover. Cholesterol is very important in this and so it is good that cholesterol is present in our body. However, when there are too many inflammations in our body and also by the heart, our body will produce more and more cholesterol to deal with those inflammations. When we have too much cholesterol in our body, it can accumulate in the artery walls. And that is not good news, because eventually this can lead to cardiovascular problems. Cholesterol is therefore a building block of our body and is mainly produced in our liver. Statin the best-selling drug in the world! When we have high cholesterol, the doctor prescribes statins to lower the cholesterol. But the statins not only lower cholesterol, but also our body's own substance Co-enzyme Q10.  Q10 is very important for our heart health, so we don't want it to be ...
